I am delighted to announce I will be setting off on another challenge walk this year , following hot on the heels of the 2 x Coast to Coast walks last year across Scotland then England (see http://ramac2c.blogspot.com/). On Monday 11th September, I will start the Dalesway with my faithful companion Rufus. This will be a 85 mile treck from Ilkley in the Yorkshire Dales, up to Windermere in the Lake District, staying in B&B's en route.
Below is the route I will be taking. I will be updating my blog as I go along, so watch out for any eventful mishaps, amazing vistas or eventful encounters.
